Fasteners Group is a Kazakhstan–China joint venture established in 2023. The company is the first and only full-cycle enterprise in the Republic of Kazakhstan specializing in the production of elastic rail fastening systems for railway infrastructure. The enterprise focuses on manufacturing complete sets of elastic rail fastening systems designed for high-speed mainlines, heavy-haul freight corridors, and modern passenger routes. The production facilities are equipped with a highly automated robotic line ensuring consistent quality, high manufacturing precision, and large-scale serial output in compliance with international railway standards (EN, UIC, GOST, ST RK) and the technical requirements of leading railway operators. The annual production capacity exceeds 1,500,000 complete fastening sets, contributing to the localization of railway engineering in Kazakhstan, import substitution of critical components, and the implementation of national infrastructure development programs, including high-speed rail projects and modernization of the existing railway network. Composition of the complete rail fastening system: Polymer components (3 items): – Dowel — a high-strength plastic anchor installed in concrete sleepers or slabs to ensure secure screw fixation. – Rail inclination guide plate (rail pad plate) — provides the required rail cant angle and lateral stability. – Rail pad — an elastomeric pad ensuring electrical insulation, vibration damping, and uniform load distribution. Metal components (2 items): – Elastic clip (spring clip) — made of spring steel (SKL type or equivalent), providing constant rail clamping force while allowing controlled longitudinal movement. – Rail (sleeper) screw — a high-strength threaded fastener with anti-corrosion coating designed for reliable connection with the dowel. The fastening system is designed for operation: – on high-speed lines (up to 200–250+ km/h depending on configuration); – under high axle loads and intensive traffic conditions; – in extreme climatic conditions of Kazakhstan (wide temperature range, high UV exposure, dust, and seismic activity); – with concrete mono-block sleepers, slab track systems, and turnouts. All components are manufactured in-house from certified raw materials (high-quality polymers, spring steel, and alloy steels) using injection molding, cold forming, heat treatment, protective coating application, and robotic assembly technologies. The production process includes multi-level quality control, destructive and non-destructive testing, fatigue and corrosion resistance assessment, and full traceability of each component.
