GHALAM is a leading space industry company in Kazakhstan, specializing in the development, manufacturing, and operation of spacecraft and related infrastructure. Established in 2010 as a joint venture between Airbus Defence and Space and NC Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary, the company is based in Astana. GHALAM offers a full-cycle satellite development capability — from design and engineering to integration, testing, launch support, and in-orbit operations. Its Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) complex is one of the most advanced in the CIS, capable of handling spacecraft up to 6 tons.
